2015-2016 Planner Tour

The end of the year can be hard, in a planner. We have the old, but want the new. Here is how I am coping during these last days of 2015 and still forward planning and preparing my planner for 2016. How are you managing the transition? Please comment below.

Adjusting Planner Routines

I would be lost without routines. They are the framework of my life. No, they don't run my life, but they help me keep my life running while getting everything done efficiently. I hope you are inspired to create your own version of a routine after seeing how I build mine.

How to Pick The Best Inserts For You

I can't believe I haven't posted this theme earlier?! How often do we buy insert after insert, or try a new brand of planner in the search of a good fit for our life. In this video I describe how you can figure out which type of insert you will probably like best without spending ANY money upfront.

Updated Planner Tour

I really think that as my life changes from season to season, my planner will also adapt to help me keep up with those changes. Sometimes I need to track items in-depth. Later on, those same things may no longer be relevant. So, here is my current planner set-up. I've recently acquired a personal size Filofax Malden in purple, and I love it! But don't worry, I still adore my light pink Color Crush planner; it's like having more children, my love multiplies with each new binder, it does not divide.

Don't forget to check out or review my January 2015 planner set-up to see the comparison of then and now. Link here.

DIY Removable, Watercolor, Planner Stickers

I posted a photo on Facebook, last week, of some of these simple stickers that I had whipped up one afternoon. Many asked for a tutorial on how I made them, and I was thrilled to make my next video a DIY on these stickers. The total cost was less than $10 to get the supplies- most of these you may already have in your home! If you make some and use them in your planner or for other organizing projects, please leave me a link to a photo/blog/video, I would LOVE to see how you are using them!

Enjoy!

My Systems: Homeschool and Personal

Take a peek into my homeschool planning system and my personal planning system. Miss Trenchcoat's instagram phtoto a day challenge (follow hashtag #charmedGTD) was the inspiration for this post. And yes, I realize I pronounce her name wrong a few times throughout- a humble apology was already sent to her :)

Get It all Done with Planner Routines

Routines are one of the keys to successful time management. I am not a slave to the clock in my routines, but having an idea of what needs to happen, in what order, adds a lot of peace to my life.

What routines do you swear by?

What's in my bag?

For most women, a purse or bag is a necessity. Plus, how can we refuse the hundreds of colors and styles available to us? I love taking a peak into other people's bags, and so I thought I'd share what I currently carry in my bag. Especially since it relates directly to my role as a wife, mother, and planner lover.
